  We’re excited to share great news for di Rosa, our collection, our community and the landscape that has been our home for decades. The Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District has approved an agreement to move forward with plans to acquire and permanently protect the 162-acre upper portion of the di Rosa property, including Milliken Peak. di Rosa will retain its 53-acre lower campus—including our galleries, Sculpture Meadow, and the spaces central to our exhibitions, educational programs, and events. In partnership with the Open Space District and the Land Trust of Napa County, this agreement creates a path toward greater public access to Milliken Peak through a proposed new public hiking trail, which di Rosa plans to populate with additional sculptures—bringing art into the landscape and helping us reach more people. We are excited to encourage cross-pollination between hikers and di Rosa visitors and we’re already imagining the possibilities—from coffee and pastries post-hike on campus, to Art + Nature events and experiences that could bring the trail and campus together.
