Opening soon is the new wall installation by past PhotoAlliance speaker Stephanie Syjuco (2021), her largest one yet!
Referencing the classroom routine of a “roll call” to signify one’s presence, the exhibition explores radical pedagogy in the politics of education, through exploration of the Berkeley Bancroft Library and the Ethnic Studies Library.
There will also be a stimulating conversation between Stephanie Syjuco and Curatorial Associate Matthew Villar Miranda about the work and the construction of historical narratives.
