| A note from EBPCO Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director Vince Donovan: As a kid, my parents sent me to a summer arts day camp. I was VERY unhappy about this until I walked in the door: an enormous gymnasium full of easels, potter’s wheels, finger paints, sewing machines, and carpentry tools of all sorts. Best of all, there were teachers and other kids at each station inviting me to give everything a try. Suddenly, I never wanted to leave. I get the same feeling today as a grown-ass adult attending an EBPCO gallery opening or photo walk, flipping through books in the library, or hanging out at the darkroom. The creative energy we share with each other is such a joy, I never want to leave. EBPCO Fest is coming up, another chance for us to share that creative joy with each other. I hope you’ll be there! Bring a camera (always a great conversation starter), bring a friend, and, most importantly, bring your own personal creative magic. You’ll never want to leave! |

What is EBPCO Fest? EBPCO Fest is more than an annual celebration — it’s an ode to the spirit of creativity and community fostered by the East Bay Photo Collective! Mix and mingle with fellow photographers, workshop instructors, gallery owners, sponsors, local photo businesses, local artists, and more. There’ll be tasty food & drink, beautiful artwork, and a seriously *awesome* raffle. Proceeds support our mission to provide photographic resources, education, and opportunities for all. At EBPCO Fest, you’ll find the EBPCO staff and volunteer members who work hard all year to fill our lives with creative opportunity and inspiration. These folks all love photography as much as you do, and they will love it if you say hello!
