| OPENING RECEPTION It’s Not Trash: Reclaiming and Transforming |
| Opening | Thursday, Sept 17th 5:30-7:30pm In the Main Gallery, It’s Not Trash: Reclaiming and Transforming combines a selection of 40 artists from Recology San Francisco’s Artist-in-Residence (AIR) Program and five invited artists from the Bay Area. All participating artists created their work from reclaimed materials, shifting what is perceived of as “trash” to reimagined art objects. In the North Gallery, It’s Not Trash continues with Strictly Local: Piecing It Together in Sonoma Countywhere students, community members, and individual artists bring together a diverse range of voices and approaches. Beer, wine and light refreshments will be served.Join us for this free event open to members and the public. |
